#10 Tenets of Discipleship: Connection With Our God

In this episode, we introduce The Seven Tenets of a Discipleship Group and begin unpacking the heart behind why they exist. What started as a reflective conversation after the original group divided into two groups, became a clear articulation of the principles that made our discipleship experience deeply formative, relationally strong, and spiritually alive. We focus especially on the first and foundational tenet, connection to God, and wrestle with what real intimacy with Christ looks like beyond information, duty, or behavior management. This conversation presses into vulnerability, emotional connection, prayer, Scripture, and brotherhood, asking hard questions about why so many believers feel distant from God and what it actually takes to grow deep. This is not a formula, but a vision, one shaped by lived experience, purpose of heart, and a shared pursuit of knowing Christ together.
